Forum Changes
Ok, per the requests of some of the members, I've made some changes to the forums. First and foremost, I made a different version of the forum skin. This one ought to prove to be less BLINDING. This required that I also play with the forum markers. The ones to signify new posts didn't differ too substantially from the ones that signified "no new posts", so I blue'd the hell out of the new post markers. Eat that, phpBB.
That's about the only significant thing I changed, but I've got some more things on the way, possibly later tonight. For starters, QUICK REPLY. It's coming! That's the only thing that -really- affects the members. I'm also changing the code to capitalize the first letter of custom BBCodes. If you look at the far right of the BBCode button row when posting a reply or topic, you'll see "center", "right", "s", and "spoiler". These are all custom, and the first letter of all those words aren't capitalized, which bugs me. I'm also toying with the code to make it so Mods and Admins see IP addresses in posts. It'll make it easier to hunt your asses down. I'm also going to be changing the code to make URLs posted in posts open in a new window instead of the current one. Because phpBB likes to fuck with us :O
I'm still searching for a decent WORKING Shoutbox for phpBB 3.0.0 (NOT phpBB 3.0.RC#). Someone also requested instant post redirection instead of phpBB's default meta redirection. I'm gandering at the code, and I was toying with some things. I'll give it a better going-over later.
That's about all I've got for you guys this evening. Hopefully by next week I'll have some more shit to talk about.
Also, if you're reading this from the front page, you'll realize that there is a news export script I added in. I had to modify the hell out of it, but it's cool now.
